Executed in 2007.
An exhibition of works by Louise Bourgeois and Yayoi Kusama presents a tightly curated selection of sculpture, paintings, and works on paper, which bridge the intense psychological states that comprise the very fabric of the artists’ parallel careers. Steered by a loose psychoanalytic framework, this exhibition explores the ways in which Bourgeois and Kusama radically challenged patriarchal conventions of art making during the later 20th century.
